The in Russia residing dj is influenced by the Berlin and British techno scene. During his dj’ing and producing he began to experiment with his own sound. It took him 2 years to discover his own original style, combining the emotional and simultaneously technological vibe of the deep underground techno into his own style and tracks.

His first vinyl named ‘IntentIntension’ was released on dutch technolabel Lesissmorerecordings. After that he released on labels like Gynoid Audio, Indeks Music and Sonntag Morgen. But that wasn’t it… In 2011 he started the Unbalance series on vinyl. A very strong series of releases on the Unbalance imprint. The records are supported by artists like Marcel Fengler, Dj Rolando, Ben Sims, Dj Deep, Steffi, Jonas Kopp, Shifted, Mike Parker, Brendon Moeller, Samuli Kemppi, Giorgio Gigli and many others. The label is booming and there’s even a sub-label planed with remixes of the unbalance series from highly respected and recommended artists. Unbalance is ready for gigs in Europe and beyond and what better place to start in the temple of techno: Berghain! In august he played a massive live set and got a lot of support and respect for that!

Regardless of location: a large-scale raves or at a intimate party, In his DJ/Live sets Unbalance always stays loyal to his deep and pulsating sound, plunging into a hypnotic dance-floor euphoria.

Episode 315 SASCHA RYDELL

Sascha Rydell is one third of the Fachwerk triumvirate that is leading the way in stripped, funky, dancefloor focussed techno. The stuff is in his bones, frankly, and that shines through in his own idiosyncratic tracks and EP's, as does his ear for an unfamiliar hook, ability to craft a devastating bassline or most inviting groove. 1996 was when he began DJing, and since then years of experience have only fomented his ability to thread a compelling electronic soundtrack to anyone who will listen.

Born and raised in Berlin, growing up alongside clubs like WMF, Tresor and E-Werk and people like Mike Dehnert and Roman Lindau, Rydell has techno in his bones. But so too hip-hop, soul, funk, house and jazz – all of which are things that inform his sketchy, loopy, heavy techno sounds on the label he runs with Mike and Roman, namely Fachwerk. Charged with representing the imprint for a Resident Advisor label of the month mix in January 2011, Rydell deftly journeyed across a wide range of Fachwerks’s output – both released and unreleased – with devastating effects.

“Every piece I produce has my soul in it” states Sascha. “It all expresses the experiences that I have gained over the past 10 to 20 years.” Some of the most notable achievements in that time of music making include playing legendary places like Berghain and European hotspots like Trouw, as well as releasing a number of well received EPs on Fachwerk (Serrage, Marmonner, Mouvoir, Propose EP and more) which picked up healthy support from many Artists worldwide.

“It’s fantastic to see how music can people make happy in a global way, it’s like an universal language and it works over all the world” says self-confessed vinyl junkie Sascha of his trade; a trade he has been perfecting for two decades and since long before Berlin came the fashionable hotspot it is now. Forging important friendships in that time – ones that continue to stand him and his label in good stead today - Sascha has plans for a full length album as well as for more singles and EPS on other labels, all things which will surely only firm up his position as a nu-school leader.

Episode 314 REGEN

Regen (Ilian Tape, Harry Klein Records, Belgrade)

Since his early childhood Milos got really fascinated and involved with break dance movement. At that time, he was introduced to the electronic beats for the first time in his life. The important step towards his music career was his enrollment into Junior Music School in Belgrade, when he was only eight years old, where he learned the basics of music theory.

He got in touch with electronic music when he was fourteen in 1993, traveling within England. Since then, his dedication to electronic music was enormous. Although, being lucky enough to travel a lot around the world, he began collecting and buying vinyl ever since.

Milos started his dj career as soon as sixteen years old. At the very beginning he was a resident of a famous Belgrade underground club Omen, where he played Thursdays. In 1998, after his first appearance in highly regarded club Industria in Belgrade, he joined organization TTP and gained a weekly residency. By the end of the 1999, when club Omen was already closed, he participated and played in most of the Belgrade’s finest underground clubs and parties. At that time, he drew attention with his innovative mixing techniques and skills, using even three decks for mixture of house and techno.

Even though he was always devoted to it, in mid 2003, his progression led him profoundly to more deep and innovative sounds of electronic music. He developed his new set up in performing and got into more stripped down house, techno and some electronica.

Milos started producing his own tracks during the 2001. In 2006 his debut track called “Fluctual” appears on a compilation “Belgrade Coffee Shop – Area 6″, while its break-through in the international music scene is marked with releases “Trapizator Ep” in 2007 and “Transistor Ep” in 2008 for the Frankfurt label Momentum.

Milos spent a lot of time on his newly born project Regen in 2008, his dub techno pseudonym. Regen project is focused on a dubby side of both house and techno genres, with a unique approach of early dub techno classics of early ‘90s. His first track “Duege”, under his Regen alias, appeared on a compilation “Sometimes You Don’t Need Any Words” on Munich based label Ilian Tape in 2008.

Developer is one of a few active DJ/Producers that emerged from the Los Angeles techno scene in the early 1990's. After ending his residency as a DJ on radio station 88.7FM kspc back in 1995, Developer went to New York City to learn about the record distribution business and assisted in the launch of the first dedicated techno distribution company in Los Angeles " Entity Music Distribution " which worked with highly influential labels such as Axis Records, Reload Belgium, Plus 8 Canada as well as a large amount of techno label's from Detroit, Chicago and Europe.

One of the company's main focuses was to expose the western USA, Mexico and most of Central and South America with techno music from around the world. Over the last 2 decades Developer has played in various countries as well as taking part in laying a foundation in the LA techno culture by producing events and exposing various first time international talents through out the mid to late1990's. Developer gained much of his acclaim and extensive performance history from his strong mixing and programming skills as well as the ability of playing 40 - 60 records per hour on 3 turntables with effect processor and sampler.

LaChriz, along with his good friend Marco, had arrived to listen to a DJ set by Marco’s brother, Dario Zenker. Having felt so deeply inspired by this experience at Harry Klein that particular evening, he quickly developed an infatuation with the vast world of electronic music. Naturally, soon thereafter followed a keen interest for the production side of the music that he had fallen in love with: techno.
LaChriz’s musical taste is rather multifaceted, ranging anywhere from Punk to Hip Hop. His style is experimental, deep, personal and fresh.
Never swaying from its dance music roots. He mostly releases on the Munich-based label Ilian Tape and gave his live debut in October 2010, where it all began, at Harry Klein.
LaChriz is constantly updating and also varying his live set, so the listeners can expect a different musical journey every time he's playing, but always with a deep content.

release on micro.fon, Gynoid Audio, Elektrax, Nachtstrom
Schallplatten, Blind Spot, BCR, Sonntag Morgen, Silent Steps and on his
own Archetypes Records.
In November 2012 he played in New York, at the National Underground,
for the 'Twice as Proper' crew: this gig gave to him a new perspective in
productions' design and construction and a new way of
approaching to people.
His tracks were featured on podcasts such as CLR, Drumcode, Droid's
D-Node; he was hosted in shows such as Brood Audio, Blindspot, Blank
Code, Feed The Raver and played by Adam X, Perc, Norman Nodge,
Tommy Four Seven, Chris Liebing, DJ Emerson, Rebekah, Erphun,
Angel Costa and Speedy J.
The 'Divided By Zero' EP on DJ Emerson's micro.fon has been quite
successful and has brought a lot of satisfaction.
Some gigs and releases have to be confirmed yet: surprises should not be
disclosed in advance..
A remix for Erphun is scheduled for the near future.

Already at a young age he had contact with Techno/House in the mid 90ies. Started djing and than tried to create his own sounds. In 2005 after a 5 year pause he got really inspired by the underground scene of his home city and is producing ever since.
Though he always had a very dubby approach and did his own thing he got the chance to play live all over in clubs of Zurich. He released on known Dub Techno netlabels like Deepindub and Schall and also began to explore his more Acid and Deep House roots with his Defective Units project on Broque. First vinyl releases on labels like Tiefenrausch and Idealistmusic (his own imprint) followed and a compilation on Eintakt is coming out soon. Watch out for further releases...

His own concept is made by innovation, spatiality and to break down standard music barriers, fusing elements of every genre that influenced his sound design.
After first steps moved as "Dj Danko" (appeared also as guest in the mix on Blind Spot Radioshow),his new music was immediately supported on his first releases by artists like Jonas Kopp, Mike Parker, Pfirter, Shifted, Alan Fitzpatrick, Cio D'or, Dadub, Norman Nodge, DVS1, Inigo Kennedy, Arnaud Le Texier, Deep Space Helsinki, D. Carbone, Anton Banks, Dj Deep, Terence Fixmer and many more.
In 2012 he's moving to start his own dgt and 12" label "Rectoversion" (based on the transmigration of the concept of the homonymous painting movement within the music scene) with Gennaro Russo aka Logotech \ Alpha Code.
He's also spinning a parallel and more experimental project available just on Bandcamp.

He had his first approach with electronic music at the age of 11. A simple interest turns into something more at the age of 14, when he starts performing his DJ sets.
In 2007, after a few appearances at some local clubs and underground parties, he decides to turn his attention towards the construction of a Live Set, without however omitting the charm of vinyls in his DJ sets. From 2009 onwards, you can find several works on various labels under the name The Noisemaker. He is currently working with labels such as Par, M_rec, Raw Waxes, Wood n Bass.
In his LiveSet he brings out an hypnotic and aggressive atmosphere.

2013 is the year of the launch of his own label NMKrec, that will be the main holder of his work.

Currently residing in Japan, who has been steadily building a name for himself through releases for imprints such as 6277, Labyrnth and Pohjola. Gibson's demo landing on the Perc Trax doormat was reportedly enough to convince label head Ali "Perc" Wells that his material should see the light of day as the imprint's first LP release. And what of said material?
"An engaging mix of dark tinged techno, spaced electronica and edgy dubstep," is the word. "I wanted to reach a kind of minimal difference within and between every aspect of each track," says Gibson about the album, "after an almost maximum amount of processing and editing – a consistent negation in order to create, a constant building in order to negate."
Your first album for Perc Trax, is "In A Realized Luck Of Immanence"

For Pleasure Records celebrates this month its first three years of activity.
Born from an idea of Alessandro Verrina and Andrea Perini (Aka AnderPlau) at the SAE Institute (Milan) where they first met, it rapidly made a name for itself as one of the most interesting deep and dub-techno Italian labels.

It has already collaborated with some of the best present artists such as Quantec, Claudio Mate, Marco Zenker but it is still willing to promote new Italian and international talents.
Collaborations with some of the most promising Italian producers are foreseen but we are not allowed to reveal the names yet.

n a couple of weeks the fifth chapter will be on the market. It will be signed by the two founders and remixed by Youandewan and Marco Zenker and it has already been very appreciated by many artists such as DVS1, Cio D'or, Kirk DeGiorgio, Dasha Rush and many others!
